Where Our Story Began
The Air Raid Shelter Cafe & Tea Room was created from a love of history, nostalgia and bringing people together. What began as an idea to create something different grew into an immersive café experience where visitors could enjoy traditional hospitality while surrounded by reminders of Britain’s past.
Rather than simply displaying history, the aim was to create somewhere visitors could sit amongst it, experience it and discover something new with every visit.
